Administrators

Josie Zinninger is the founder of Lakeland Montessori Schoohouse and serves as the Executive Director, a non-voting officer (Treasurer) of the non-profit corporation, as well as having one daugter currently enrolled and one daughter that has graduated from the school. Mrs. Zinninger graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Psychology and Business. She has a diversified background in education, law, finance, real estate and construction. Moving to Polk County from the Chicago area in 1998, she recognized the need for high quality choice options for education in the Polk County area. Ms. Zinninger is wholeheartedly committed to continuing to provide a Montessori educational opportunity that develops peaceful and responsible leaders for tomorrow’s world.   

Laurie Harris serves as the Secretary at Lakeland Montessori. Mrs. Harris has worked as a Secretary for many years. She has excellent customer service and organizational skills and is readily available to help our students and parents. Her smile brightens up our office!

Amanda Gaspary will join our team this year to assist Administration in the operation of Lakeland Montessori. Mrs. Gaspary graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has worked as a Reading Teacher at Southwest Middle School for three years. She also worked as a Director of Student Activities and Student Life Coordinator at FL Southern College for four years. We look forward to Mrs. Gaspary joining our team!
